Advaita Vedanta Course

Many of us are familiar with Advaita (non-dualism). Less well known is the great whole of the ancient wisdom of which Advaita is a part: Vedanta. The sources of this are the ancient Vedic scriptures, such as the Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita.

Thonse, Karnataka India

Thonse is a small and quiet village, located on the West Coast of India in the state of Karnataka, about 300 km below Goa. This nice, unpolluted and quiet place in India is a rare find. In the winter months the temperature is around 26-30ºC with 8-10 hours of sunshine per day. The sea water is great for swimming and you can take endless walks on a beautiful and clean beach and will not encounter many people. An ideal place to unwind, certainly in combination with the Advaita Vedanta Course and a stay in the Ayurvedic Center.

Thonse Health Centre

Thonse Ayurvedic Health Center is located directly on a beautiful lagoon and a short distance from the ocean. The center is simple, is not commercial and therefore it is not expensive to stay there. The costs are around €100 – €150 per week including everything the center has to offer: a private room with toilet, vegetarian meals, herbal tea’s, juices, etcetera. Also included is medical supervision by an Ayurvedic doctor and a naturopath.
